3.6 Magnitude Earthquake Reported in Hail, Saudi Arabia
On Friday, the Saudi Geological Survey reported a 3.6 magnitude earthquake in the Hail region, with the epicenter located 107 kilometers from Hail city. Caused by tectonic stresses and volcanic magma movement, the earthquake's depth was 5.86 kilometers. The situation remains stable with no aftershocks, and continuous monitoring is in place.
On Friday, the Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) reported a 3.6 magnitude earthquake in the Hail region.
The spokesperson, Tariq Abu Al-Khail, stated that the earthquake's epicenter was at a depth of 5.86 kilometers, 107 kilometers away from Hail city.
This seismic activity was attributed to tectonic stresses and the movement of volcanic magma beneath the Hetima Harra.
The National Seismic Network recorded the earthquake at 12:03:24 PM on June 28, 2024, east of Shan'an.
Although the situation remains stable with no aftershocks, the Survey continues to monitor the region.
