217 gifted people to take part in Mawhiba Spring Forum 2023

217 gifted people to take part in Mawhiba Spring Forum 2023

The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, will hold the Spring Forum 2023, between March 3 and 14, in which 217 gifted men and women from 19 education departments will take part.
During the 10-day forum, 20 men and women trainers of the highest national and international competencies will hold an average of eight training hours per day for the participants, supervised by 10 men and women national cadres.

The training program is bound to prepare the students in these fields, raising their level of performance in qualifying exams and thus later participate in the Summer Forum.

The Spring Forum prepares students from Saudi Arabia to participate in international competitions in mathematics, informatics, chemistry, physics, biology and science.

It also aims to complement the training program developed by the competitions department at Mawhiba by giving students, both girls and boys, new training material prepared by the experts of the scientific teams in the department.

The program is designed according to a time frame aimed at qualifying these gifted men and women to represent the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in international competitions.

At scientific forums such as this, the best trainers train students in advanced scientific subjects to raise their level both to participate in international competitions and to help the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia develop in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The Spring Forum 2023 is the second stop for the students in their journey in the Mawhiba International Olympiad program.

Students participating in this forum had qualified in last winter’s forum, and they continue training in the targeted disciplines mentioned above, with more focus and in depth. It is also the first stop for nominated students from the Bebras Mawhiba Informatics Competition, which took place at the end of 2022.
