Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and its partners have advanced to the engineering, procurement, and construction phase of the next expansion of the Upper Zakum offshore field. The project aims to increase production capacity to 1.5 million barrels per day through the use of artificial islands and subsea electrification technology.
