Leonardo Muylaert, a lawyer who stands at 1.83 meters tall, donned the iconic blue-and-red Superman suit to uplift cancer patients in their fight against disease.Muylaert has become known as the 'Brazilian Superman,' visiting hospitals, schools, and charities worldwide, without charging any fees.
His mission is to serve as a symbol of kindness and hope.During his one-week visit to Ghana, Muylaert interacted with numerous children at the hospital, capturing their attention and bringing smiles to their faces.

This experience meant the world to her family as it was the first time their child had smiled in weeks.Muylaert's journey to becoming 'Superman' began unintentionally at Comic-Con 2022 in Sao Paulo when an attendee recorded a video, mistaking him for Christopher Reeve, the actor who portrayed Superman in film.
The video went viral on TikTok and sparked Muylaert's decision to embrace his Superman persona.Following this incident, he ordered a traditional Superman costume online and began spreading happiness throughout Brazil.
Now, Muylaert continues to visit vulnerable individuals globally, including those in Ghana.His impact was immediate at the prosthetics workshop where amputee children also embraced their hero, joining him in a football match.
Akua Sarpong, founder of Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana, witnessed the positive change firsthand as children undergoing treatment sat up and smiled, something not seen in a long time.Muylaert emphasized that anyone can be a hero without needing a cape.
