Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya Investment Co. Announces Largest Water Theme Park, Aquarabia, with World-First Attractions and Sustainable Features
Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya Investment Company plans to build the largest water theme park in the region, named Aquarabia, as part of its Six Flags Qiddiya City project.
The park aims to attract visitors globally with 22 water attractions, some being world-firsts such as the world's first double water loop, tallest water coaster with the highest jump, longest and highest water racing track, and the tallest water slide.
Aquarabia will also offer underwater adventure trips with diving vehicles, water sports areas for rafting, kayaking, canoeing, free solo climbing, and cliff jumping.
The park will feature the first surfing pool in the Kingdom, themed around ancient desert water springs and Qiddiya's wildlife.
Aquarabia, a new venture under the Six Flags Qiddiya project in Saudi Arabia, will feature advanced systems to reduce water waste by 90% and energy consumption.
The project aims to recycle 80% of operational waste, keeping it out of landfills.
Both Aquarabia and Six Flags Qiddiya City, set to open in 2025, will be part of a walkable neighborhood with various activities, accommodations, dining options, and relaxation spots.
Abdullah Al-Dawood, managing director of Qiddiya Investment Co., celebrated the announcement as a significant milestone for Qiddiya and the entertainment, tourism, and sports sectors in the Kingdom.
