Saudi Arabia Extends Grace Period for Expired Visit Visas
Visa holders have 30 days to finalize their departure from Saudi Arabia through the "Tawasul" service on the Ministry of Interior's "Absher" electronic platform.
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) has initiated a new policy that allows the extension of all expired visit visas for the purpose of final departure from the country.
This initiative began on 1 Muharram 1447 AH, equivalent to June 26, 2025, and extends for a period of 30 days.
During this timeframe, visa holders must pay any required fees and penalties in order to regularize their status and facilitate their exit from Saudi Arabia.The process is available through the "Tawasul" service on the Ministry of Interior's "Absher" electronic platform.
Jawazat encourages all eligible beneficiaries to take advantage of this limited-time opportunity before the deadline expires on June 27, 2025.
The announcement aims to provide visa holders with an additional grace period to arrange their departure from the Kingdom, ensuring compliance with exit requirements.
