Multiple Training Camps Initiated to Equip 187 Interior Ministry Employees with Skills in Data Science and AI
The Ministry of Interior, in partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), has initiated several training camps at Tuwaiq Academy in Riyadh to upskill 187 of its staff in Data Science and AI.
These initiatives are part of SDAIA's strategy to strengthen national expertise in data and AI technologies to improve both security and civil operations within the ministry.
The intensive 3-month, 480-hour camps are designed to equip participants with the skills to create and innovate in the data and AI sectors, keeping in step with rapid technological advancements.
Under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman, also the Chairman of SDAIA's Board, the programs aim to position Saudi Arabia as a leader in AI and data worldwide.
The curriculum encompasses a wide array of critical subjects from data mining and machine learning to ethics in AI, gearing trainees to spearhead data science projects effectively.
These efforts reflect SDAIA's commitment since its 2019 inception to foster high-caliber professionals in governmental tech roles, prioritizing AI expertise.
