The “Atayeb Thimar Al-Qassim” exhibition, which translates to "Al-Qassim fruit delights," was unveiled on Thursday at the Al-Nakhla Center in Buraidah Dates City.
This event is organized by the Emirate of Al-Qassim in partnership with the Al-Qassim Chamber of Commerce and has drawn a significant audience comprising farmers and individuals interested in food and agriculture sectors.
The exhibition will span three days, offering a comprehensive display of various agricultural crops for which the Al-Qassim region is celebrated.
These featured products include watermelons, melons, strawberries, grapes, pomegranates, peaches, and figs.
A notable highlight of the exhibition is an extensive showcase of over 150 varieties of pumpkins, including several specimens that weigh more than 500 kilograms.
The display underscores the expertise of local farmers and highlights the region's agricultural productivity.
Salman Al-Suwainea, director general of the Qassim branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, emphasized that "the region is distinguished by its unique agricultural diversity," cementing its position as a leading agricultural hub within the Kingdom.
