Saudi National Team Continues Training in Qatar Camp and Prepares for Friendly against Palestine
The Saudi Arabian national football team carried on with their training program today in their current camp in Qatar as part of the final phase of preparations for the 2023 Asian Cup, set to begin on January 12th in the host country, Qatar.
The team, known as "the Green," is preparing for their second friendly match in the current stage against the Palestine national team the day after tomorrow at Al-Wakrah Sports Club stadium, at 6:30 pm.
On the field, technical manager Roberto Mancini split the training session into two parts, both conducted at the Sealine Beach resort. The morning session began with warm-ups before moving on to various tactical drills conducted by Mancini, concluding with stretching exercises.
In the evening session, the coach enforced a variety of exercises starting with warm-ups, followed by square drills, then possession exercises, before ending with a split into two groups. The training session concluded once again with stretching.
In related news, player Abbas Al-Hassan was limited to special exercises alongside the medical team, while Aymen Yahya continued his rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical staff.
