Aramco Maintains LPG Prices Unchanged for September
Saudi Aramco's official selling prices for liquefied petroleum gas remain steady for the upcoming month.
Saudi Aramco has kept its official selling prices for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) unchanged for September 2025.
The price of propane remains at $520 per tonne, while butane retains its value of $490 per tonne, according to an official statement released on Sunday.
LPG includes both propane and butane and is widely utilized for residential heating, cooking, transportation, and as a petrochemical feedstock.
Aramco's monthly pricing acts as a benchmark for LPG exports from the Gulf to Asia, the world's largest consuming region of LPG.
The increased adoption of LPG in developing countries, backed by government programs promoting its use for cooking and heating alongside reliable supply chains, is driving domestic consumption.
In developed markets, LPG offers a flexible and cost-effective alternative for industrial processes and transportation.
This pricing stability is crucial for maintaining market balance and ensuring consistent supply to various sectors.
