Saudi Arabia Unveils Major Exhibition on Disability and Rehabilitation Innovation in Riyadh
Three-day ‘Rehab Expo’ in Riyadh hosts specialists and global firms to promote inclusion and assistive-technology investment
The Saudi International Exhibition for Disability and Rehabilitation Requirements opened this week in Riyadh, gathering dignitaries, experts and local and international organisations to showcase the latest assistive technologies and rehabilitation services.
The three-day event, running until 12 November 2025 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre, is organised in partnership with the Authority for People with Disabilities.
Among the exhibitors are rehabilitation centres, hospitals and companies presenting innovations in prosthetics, mobility aids, virtual-reality therapy and inclusive-sports equipment.
The venue also hosts dedicated sessions on empowerment, assistive-technology investment, rights and services, and the role of sport in enhancing quality of life for persons with disabilities.
Hisham Al-Haidari, Chief Executive Officer of the Authority for People with Disabilities, visited the exhibition and emphasised that the event aims to raise awareness of disability issues, expand investment in disability solutions and promote knowledge exchange between public- and private-sector stakeholders.
The partnership underscores the Kingdom’s wider strategy to enhance accessibility and social inclusion, aligned with Vision 2030.
The exhibition provides a platform for job-matching, show-casing technology and promoting export-readiness of Saudi-developed assistive devices.
It further signals Riyadh’s ambition to position itself as a regional hub for rehabilitation innovation and inclusive-technology manufacturing.
As Saudi Arabia enhances its infrastructure for persons with disabilities and strengthens its ecosystem for innovation and participation, the expo marks a milestone in integrating care, investment and global collaboration in the field of rehabilitation services.
